Scope and Contents of the Materials
The Tamar C. Read Papers have been divided into three series as follows:
Series 1: Biographical Information and Music Programs
Series 2: Ethnic Music Festival
Series 3: Dissertation Materials
Forty six photographs were separated and placed in the Photograph File Cabinets, while numerous audio tapes were separated and placed in the Audio Tape Collection.

- The Ethnic Music Festival occurred in 1983 as part of UND's Centennial celebration. This series includes information on all participating ethnic groups, including Norwegian, Polish, German- Russian, Native American, French, and Danish. It also contains budget and grant materials, contracts, correspondence, programs, and general information pertaining to the festival.
