Acquisition Method: The Sioux Logo and Nickname Collection was created by the Department of Special Collections to aid researchers examining the history of the University of North Dakota’s Fighting Sioux logo and nickname. The collection is added to on a regular basis.

Also included is the transcript of an ESPN moderated chat with UND Athletic Director Roger Thomas from 12 March 2001. The actual program was recorded and can be viewed in Special Collections.
