The Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Emerado Lodge #43, was founded in 1892. “During the 90 years the Odd Fellows Lodge has met, it has served the community and played a large part in the social life of the people who have lived here. There were many dinners, dances, and many other community activities held in the Odd Fellows hall.”
