Brief Description: The papers include daily journals, periodic reports, battle reports, killed in action reports, missing in action reports, military awards, orders and information on the regiment, including its early history before activation for World War II. A significant amount of the material relates to the 164th Infantry Association, including membership records and publications about the unit. Another major component of the collection deals with the regiment's service in World War II, as well as artifacts from the war.
