Administrative/Biographical History
William Henry Elznic was born on April 21, 1888, in what is now South Dakota. He graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1912 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He was married to Vlasta Trousil and the couple had two sons: William and Earl. After a long career in secondary education, Elznic retired in Grand Forks, where he died on October 24, 1975.
