Charles A. Kavanaugh was born 13 February 1881 in Dakota Territory. He was a farmer and grain dealer in two North Dakota towns, Des Lacs and Crary. He died 14 June 1952 and is buried in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Devils Lake.
