Administrative/Biographical History
Laura Mae Saunders was from Lakota, North Dakota, and attended the University of North Dakota (UND) between 1924 and 1926 in the College of Liberal Arts. While at UND, she was a member of Delta Tau sorority. She also attended many campus events such as dances, concerts, and sporting events. In 1926, Saunders transferred to the Minot Normal School to continue her education to become a teacher.
