Abstract
Organization of businesswomen in the Greater Grand Forks area
Administrative/Biographical History
The Community Input Committee was organized in 1981 to give women in the Greater Grand Forks business community an opportunity to dialogue and to learn. The organization usually met twice per month for an hour. A guest speaker representing a business or an organization in the Grand Forks area usually spoke on topics of community and/or current events. The first meeting was held on January 26, 1981. The organization almost ended in the fall of 1998, but continued to meet until September 1999, when declining membership caused it to disband. The organization's remaining funds were donated to the Community Violence Intervention Center.
