Administrative/Biographical History
The Lathrop King Jennsion family line has been traced back to Robert Jennison of Colchester, Essex, England. In 1630, he and his family arrived in Watertown, Massachusetts. His descendants remained primarily in the New England area for approximately nine generations before moving westward in 1885 to Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Montana.
The Jennison family established flour milling businesses in Rugby and Williston, North Dakota; Bainville and Fairview, Montana; and Portland, Oregon.
