The Adah A. E. Bickford Diary is 368 pages of a one-year diary kept for the year 1910. Also included is a 41 page typescript, which was prepared by Elizabeth Hampsten of the English Department, University of North Dakota, in 1978.
The diary consists of personal accounts of Bickford's daily life. Dating from January 1, 1910 to December 31, 1910, she writes of the activities she participated in during the day, such as house work, mending, and writing letters, followed by daily visitors and other chores she did. Also in each entry was a record of the weather for the day and of news of other people's lives she was acquainted with.
