Administrative/Biographical History
Charles Witt Telford earned his B.S. and M.S. from the University of Idaho and his Ph.D. from George Peabody College for Teachers (now part of Vanderbilt University). He began at the University of North Dakota in 1929 as an assistant professor of Psychology. By 1935, Telford attained professor status and was head of the Psychology Department. He remained at UND until 1947.
