Scope and Contents of the Materials

The Mary Larson Papers consist of photocopied manuscripts written for Larson in the 1950s. The first manuscript concerns the life of Herman Schaefer, a farmer near New Rockford, North Dakota, during the 1890s. This manuscript is three pages long. The second manuscript, eight pages in length, is an autobiography of Mary Twist, a resident of Wells County, North Dakota, during the 1890s.
