- This series contains material relating to Anders’s historical study of General George A. Custer’s life and military career. The series includes correspondence dealing with Custer’s career and the Seventh Cavalry dating from 1892 to 1964. This series also contains the transcripts of the Reno Inquiry, historical notes and essays by Anders and others, microfilm about the Battle of the Little Big Horn and the Reno Inquiry, bibliographies of published Custer material and miscellaneous materials of various park and trails. It also contains materials about the Custer trail which Anders surveyed and explored.
