Sub-Series 2: Women in North Dakota Politics

This sub-series includes materials directly related to women in North Dakota politics. There are a number of documents related to Brynhild Haugland, a member of the North Dakota House of Representatives. These documents include the program from a testimonial dinner in her honor, copies of letters stating awards she had received (including a letter from President Nixon), and articles from newspapers and magazines about her. Also included in the sub-series are two copies of newspaper articles about Ruth Meiers and Nellie Dougherty.
