Scope and Contents of the Materials

The Paul E. Barr Papers contain correspondence, notes, articles, scrapbooks, and pamphlets related to the history of art in North Dakota and the United States. Eighty five photographs were separated and placed in the Photograph File Cabinets, most of which were used in Barr's book, North Dakota Artists.

Administrative Information

Accruals: Additional material was transferred from University Archives in April 1985 (85-1374) and donated by the UND Visual Arts Department, on September 8, 1998 (98-2238).

Access Restrictions: Open for inspection under the rules and regulations of the Elwyn B. Robinson Department of Special Collections.
