Scrapbook 1 contains photographs primarily from 1900-1903, with a few photos from 1911-1912. The earlier set depicts various buildings on the UND campus, the parlor in Davis Hall, and the layout of a science classroom. ROTC cadets drilling and in the classroom, as well as the football and track teams are also shown. Numerous photographs show students at formal functions. There is also a photo of "Black Maria," a horse drawn carriage.
Scrapbook 2 focuses on UND during the years 1922-1926. Multiple items are included: a 13 page "Memory Book" (in the form of a guest registry, comments); Blacks Fountain menu; numerous ticket stubs, programs, and other mementos; May Fete programs (1918-1926); newspaper articles; football, basketball, and track results (1922-1923), and photos of Hazel Patten, UND's best woman athlete.
Access Restrictions: Open for inspection under the rules and regulations of the Elwyn B. Robinson Department of Special Collections.
Acquisition Method: Deposited by the UND Alumni Association, who received the materials from the estate of Maud Dickinson in June 1993
