Scope and Contents of the Materials

The John Chamberlin Papers consist of a photocopy of a diary kept by Chamberlin during the Civil War, a transcribed copy of the diary, and a Grand Forks Herald story about the diary dated August 4, 1991. The diary and the transcription where photocopied from originals held by Paul Meyer, John Chamberlin's grandson.
