Scope and Contents of the Materials

This collection contains correspondence, financial records, and newspaper articles concerning a series of stories relating to North Dakota history, which were published in various state newspapers under the column heading "This Week in North Dakota History." The articles appeared weekly from December 1979 until November 1981 and were written by Dan Rylance and D. Jerome Tweton of the University of North Dakota. The North Dakota Committee for the Humanities and Public Issues funded the project.
