Series 1: 75th Anniversary, 1958

UND celebrated its 75th Anniversary in November 1958. A three day faculty research conference took place November 6-8, while the formal convocation took place on November 8. That event featured the awarding of honorary degrees to fourteen UND alumni including Maxwell Anderson (playwright), Edward Thompson (magazine editor and publisher), and Waldemar Westergaard (historian).

Series 2: President John F. Kennedy Visit, September 25, 1963

President John F. Kennedy visited UND September 25, 1963, to deliver a speech at the UND Fieldhouse regarding environmental conservation. Despite the fact that President Kennedy was only on campus for "one magic hour," the event remains one of the most notable in UND history.
