Scope and Contents of the Materials

The John Malberg Diaries are organized into five folders. The first folder consists of copies of family papers including land records and naturalization papers. The second folder has a name index to pages for persons mentioned in the diaries. The remaining folders contain typewritten English translations of the diary entries, which were originally written in Swedish.
