Brief Description: The Prairie Naturalist Records spans 1967 to 1993. Materials include journal copies, manuscript drafts and revisions, correspondence, volume indexes, financial records relating to publishing and printing costs, and rejected manuscripts. Journal copies are included for most, but not all, volume numbers. Correspondence documents the proceedings between the editor and the authors and reviewers. Drafts and revisions note editorial comments and corrections. A complete run of The Prairie Naturalist is located in the Periodicals Department on the first floor of the Chester Fritz Library. Former editor Paul Kannowski created a 25 year index to the journal, which was deposited with this collection and therefore is housed in Special Collections.
