Brief Description:

The Helge Ederstrom Papers consist of materials mainly about the history of the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at the University of North Dakota (UND) from 1905 until 1983. Topics include the use of the new Medical Science building, animal for research, controversies in the Graduate Program, and advances in technology. There is a time line of the teachers and courses in the Physiology and Pharmacology from 1915 to 1980, and a listing of course changes over the years.

Also included in the collection are the notes and rough drafts that Ederstrom used to write A History of the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, 1905-1977.
