Brief Description: The Ken Smith Papers consists of a special edition newspaper published by the North Dakota Humanities Council. The newspaper reported on a lecture given by Ken Smith on March 7, 1999. Entitled "What Should We Teach at Our University?" the newspaper contains the text of Smith's remarks, as well as an interview with and biographical sketch of Smith. Also included is a reprint of the first page of The Dakota Educator, dated June 1888.
