Brief Description: The W.E. “Tut” DeLano Collection contains sheet music and a letter by Corrine Slaughter that provides some background information on this item. The music, entitled “North Dakota: Teddy Roosevelt’s West” was written by W.E. “Tut” DeLano and published by DeLano Music of Grand Forks, North Dakota in 1952. DeLano first published the song in 1925. The 1952 edition in this collection includes a brief history of the song (on the last page) and an additional chorus.
