There is an issue of a nationally published magazine titled Open Wheel, which contains an article on the Grand Forks Speedway on page 62. Also included are several issues of Pride 'n Joy, a collector car magazine published in Valley City, North Dakota.

Over seventy photographs were separated and placed in the Photograph File Cabinets. The photographs depict the Grand Forks Speedway, as well as drivers and cars that raced there.

The Grand Forks Speedway was constructed as a Works Progress Administration project in 1937. Over twenty thousand people attended the dedication of the speedway, presided over by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on October 4, 1937. The track was renovated in the 1950s and is still used every Friday during the summer for races.
