Brief Description: The collection contains completed questionnaires (submitted in 1972 and 1973) from numerous authors regarding their experiences and opinions of Esquire magazine and its founder, Arnold Gingrich, during its formative years in the 1930s. Included is Bina’s 368 page Doctoral dissertation (1975) titled, The Literary Achievement Of “Esquire” Magazine During The Great Depression. The copy in this collection was edited by Arnold Gingrich, with handwritten notes, and is different from the copy Bina submitted in 1975. Also included is corresondence from the Graduate School of Education at Harvard University  welcoming Bina to the program.
