Brief Description: The collection consists of UND commencement programs, beginning in 1889. Generally, three commencements were held each calendar year, in the Spring, Summer, and Winter. The Summer and Winter commencements, however, did not always occur. The folders contain the formal commencement program for all ceremonies. Other documents sometimes included are the commencement speaker's remarks, menus for the class dinner, and programs for the baccalaureate services. The first series contains programs for the general UND commencements. The second series contains programs for the UND School of Law, and the third series is for the UND School of Medicine.
