Brief Description: The Nita Fox Papers, 1971-1975, consist primarily of materials for several organizations, mainly relating to the Equal Rights Amendment. Fox was an active member in the North Dakota Business and Professional Women’s Club, serving as state president 1972-1973. Materials for this organization include correspondence, resolutions, and notes for a panel discussion on the Amendment. Fox also served as president of the North Dakota Commission on the Status of Women. These contents include correspondence, newspaper clippings, historical materials, and records from the (national) Citizens Advisory Council on the Status of Women.
