Brief Description:

The Rosendal Norwegian Danish Evangelical Lutheran Church Records date from 1891 to 2003. The vast majority of the material, however, dates from 1891, when the church was founded, until it closed in 1991. Materials in the collection include pastoral records (births, marriages, and funerals), secretary’s log books, financial information, guest books, and correspondence. Materials related to various church organizations, including Ladies Aid (also known as the American Lutheran Church Women), the Luther League (for young people), and the Sunday School, are also present. Finally, the collection also contains the church’s Articles of Incorporation and a publication from its 60th Anniversary.

The collection consists of two archival boxes, as well as one roll of microfilm which duplicates the pastoral records and secretary’s log books.
