Brief Description: This collection contains documents regarding a bill proposed by United States Senator James Couzens of Michigan in April 1929. The bill was designed to regulate the "transmission of intelligence by wire or wireless" and to create a "commission on communication."  The North Dakota congressional delegation opposed the bill, arguing that violated state's rights.
