- Series 1: 75th Anniversary, 1958
- UND celebrated its 75th Anniversary in November 1958. A three day faculty research conference took place November 6-8, while the formal convocation took place on November 8. That event featured the awarding of honorary degrees to fourteen UND alumni including Maxwell Anderson (playwright), Edward Thompson (magazine editor and publisher), and Waldemar Westergaard (historian).
