Scope and Contents of the Materials

Almanak was an Icelandic magazine that was published in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The collection consists solely of one photocopied issue from 1913, which contained one article on UND alum Vilhjalmur Stefansson and a second on the history of the Icelandic settlement at Upham, North Dakota.
