The Kathy Coudle King Papers consist of two plays authored by King. ..Til the Fat Lady Sings was written in 1992 for the Charlotte Danstrom Series. The two act play tells the story of Billi Mills, an up and coming blues singer. She is at peace with her body image until she loses a gig based on her large-size figure. She then embarks on an exercise and diet routine with her best friend, Liz.
Women with Wrinkles was written in 1992 and explores the relationship between a black woman and a white woman in a Southern nursing home.
Also included is one folder of biographical materials, consisting of newspaper clippings from the Grand Forks Herald and the Dakota Student.
