Scope and Contents of the Materials

This collection is mostly photographs of the interior and exterior areas of United Hospital in Grand Forks. There are also photographs of interior spaces in the former Deaconess and St. Michael's hospitals, which merged to form United Hospital in 1971. In addition, there is an article about the opening of the hospital in 1976. The photographs were taken by Dr. Elwyn B. Robinson in 1976.

Processing Information: Photographs by Dr. Robinson of the former Deaconess (79-582) and St. Michael's (79-583) hospitals were transferred to the United Hospital photograph collection in 2023. All of these photographs were from 1976, several years after the merger to form United Hospital.
