Scope and Contents of the Materials
The Mary Adams Papers contain personal correspondence and financial materials from 1933 to 1960. The major correspondents include Mary Adams’ son, George Adams Jr., and her daughter-in-law, Marie Davis Adams. The correspondence is primarily incoming. The collection also contains financial ledgers (1933-1954), a brief family history, and a photocopy of an undated diary written in Norwegian.
