Scope and Contents of the Materials
Kriegieland is a video documentary series examining the experiences of Prisoners of War (POWs) from the Second World War and the Korean War. Elmer Lian, himself a POW in Germany during World War II, hosted the series. Lian interviewed a number of former POWs, the vast majority being from North Dakota. The UND AeroSpace Network produced the series.
